Each year, the Great Taste Awards independently blind tastes over 7000 food and drink products. The best win one-star gold, the very very best win two-stars and the completely sublime foods are awarded three stars. Last year, only 101 were good enough for three stars. The Great Taste Awards are to fine food what Michelin is to fine dining.

Now it is your chance to taste, compare and buy from a selection of gold award-winning food and drink in the Great Taste Live Theatre at Spirit of Summer Fair.  Entry to the theatre is free and you get to taste and compare Britain’s best food and drink while BBC Radio 2 food and drink star, Nigel Barden and Great Taste Awards chairman, Bob Farrand   interview award winning producers. Find out for yourself  what makes these foods so special and so different to those found in supermarkets.
